I am so excited!

We have siblings. Yes, a good friend helped me locate 2 of B & B's sibs. It is so cool. I have always wanted to try and locate sibs for B & B to have in the future if they wanted to pursue that avenue. I have had no luck finding any sibs for T, T, & T and really hoped to have some better luck for B & B. Today, I exchanged emails with one of the kiddo's moms and heard about another sibling. Neat thing is that this little guy has almost the same name. I have Brennyn and he is Brendan....Strange coincidence, huh? All of the babies are almost the same exact age too. Mine are 12/06, Brendan is 11/06 and the other little guy is 12/06. so, 4 babies all born within 1 month of each other. Neato!

The terrible twos are rapidly approaching....

I hear "no" more than ever, and every situation in which they do not get what they want pretty much ends in a meltdown as demonstrated below....

Every day, they speak more and more and that just makes it easier for us to understand their newly found defiance and independence. For instance, Brennyn really is not good at feeding himself things that are messy. He probably only gets about 25% of the food in his mouth. However, he would rather eat only 25% of his food then let me feed him and get all of it. He is just too independent for mom to help out!

I think that it is great and am enjoying every minute of it. They are turning into tiny people and their personalities are quite distinct. The interesting thing is that they have been this way since birth. I just see it amplify each year. Fun times for me.

Independent toddlers and pre-teen attitude...The Pelzer house could not be any more hyped up unless we were all on steroids!

So much attitude...Boy am I in for it

This little tiny girl of mine already has enough attitude for 2 teenagers. She walks through the rooms swinging her arms and just says things that no 18 month-old should. For instance:

"Baylee?"
"Huh?"
"Come here."
"Uh Uh"
"Did you just say "Uh Uh" to me?"
"Uh Uh...."

Please help me...What lies ahead with this child??

I Miss My Boy....

My Tobey is gone and I just miss him terribly. I really do not think that anyone quite understands just how much I am attached to that kid. It is not something that I did on purpose. It just happened. Years and years of doctors appointments, hospitalizations, clinic appointments, and tests helped us grow quite a bond. Since I was the only one who took him to all of these things, it just grew stronger and stronger. When you hold someone's hand through so many experiences, there is just something there. It cannot be avoided. I have been told by others that I need to help him become more independent and less needy as far as what I do for him. I have worked very hard recently to try and nudge him along the road of independence. I guess that I never realized how hard it would be for me....

He is up at a brand new camp 5 hours from home. I am sure that he is meeting new friends and having loads of fun. However, I still miss him terribly and cannot wait till he returns. Just a small glimpse for me of what life will be like when he heads off to college. I will miss him (all 3 of them) so!

When they place that tiny special needs baby in your arms, they never tell you just how attached you will get....

No blogging for a while....

Life has been a REAL mess and I just do not feel like talking about it....I am DONE trying to make things better. Job interviews, new cars, etc. I am NOT trying ANY MORE!

I am staying at my crappy job, driving my car that does not hold all of us, and I am just going to accept that this is the way it will be.

There is only so much rejection that a person can take and I have OFFICIALLY reached my breaking point....

I will not be blogging for a while as I do not feel the need to bring everyone down with me and I just do not have any positives left in me....

Not much to say today....

Way too much going on....

Will elaborate when I can gather up my thoughts....

To those of you that are still reading...

Thank you for reading and for being so supportive. It means a great deal. Unfortunately, not all people are like you all and there are those who seek to take the words we write and twist and turn them to use against us. This is why I have had to resort to making my blog private. This is MY place and it is very important. Therefore, I decided to make it private rather than pull it....

"Uh-Oh!"

Brennyn just loves to say "uh-oh." It is his new key phrase. He says it when there is an actual accident and when he decides to throw things madly from his highchair. Well, tonight was a new experience. We were taking Ty to Football practice and all of a sudden Brennyn yells out "uh-oh." I look back when I stop at a light and see that he has his diaper open and his wiggy is at full alert! Oh yes, this was a cause for several more distressed uh-ohs all the way home. He was very distraught at the idea that he might have broken his wiggy. Poor little guy is having a tough time discovering life....

Boys will be boys, right?

A fun evening out!

Tonight, we headed over to my sister's church for a nice evening out. It was filled with water, slides, bouncy houses, and bubbles. Fun was had by all and the kids were POOPED when all was said and done....

This is GREAT!!!!

Watching the bubbbles....

ALWAYS observing. I would LOVE to know EXACTLY what she is thinking....

The big kids were no where to be found and having a BLAST! The only downer is the fact that I again confirmed how much I do like this church, but it so far away...

Guess what?????

Ummm...You did not even try now...Come on.....

Yup...The BEES Part V. I should just write the novel and try to get it published because this has moved WAY beyond funny...

For the past week. The bees have been gone. Yes, not a single bee has been buzzing outside our kitchen window or in the backyard. That said, we started noticing something ODD. Honey, yes, I said honey, was dripping down the wall in the kitchen. We would wipe it away only to have it return the next day when we woke up. So, it was back to the phone and the bee guy.

We have reached a whole new level in our relationship with the bee guy. He longer thinks that we are nice, or even worthy of much conversation. I think that he feels like he has more than earned his initial $300.

My thoughts...Too bad! If you would have done your job the first time, you would not have had to return 3 additonal times.

Apparently, when he removed the remainder of the 300 lb hive, he left all of the sheet rock and wood just the way it was. Meaning: All of my ceiling was covered in honey and dead bees. The "bomb" that he set off did it's job and killed all of the bees, but they were all just in the ceiling decomposing...Why he thought that leaving all of that behind was OK is WAY beyond me....

He arrived at 6 AM just as I was heading out to work. He removed the "small" amount of ceiling that the honey and dead bees were occupying. This, in turn, required me to hire someone to replace the removed sheet rock as bee guy only removes it. He does not fix it. So, the repair will run me $235. That brings the total of this bee story to $535.

Is it really over??? One can only wonder....

We decided to be very patriotic and get matching shoes for the whole house...Looks kind of neat when you put them all together....

New Shirts for the Twinkies....

Just cuz I KNOW how much you miss seeing their little faces....

Neither was very impressed with the "Monkey See" "Monkey Do" shirts...

The "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" ones were not much more popular. It must REALLY stink to have a mom who thinks that this sort of thing is actually fun and cute!

Last Night and Today were better days....

Last night, A surprised me and took me to "The Melting Pot" which is my favorite fondue restaurant and a place that I RARELY get to eat at. After a delicious meal, we went to see "Sex in the City" which was a FABULOUS movie! It was a very nice way to end my miserable birthday....

Today, my sister surprised me with a fairly nice day. Besides the fact that most of the kids were being nasty, we had a pleasant get-together. Swimming, fish and shrimp on the grill, and even a delicious cake and "Happy Birthday" song.

It still hurts to be closer to 40 than 30 now...
